Now you can rent a bike, right in Downtown Glens Falls!
Starting at $5 per hour with monthly and seasonal membership options, the bikeshare program offers bikes for rent located in four Warren County locations, including the heart of Downtown Glens Falls, right outside City Hall on Ridge Street. Additional locations include Glens Falls Hospital, Country Club Road in Queensbury, and Beach Road in Lake George. Students may use the bikes at a 50% discount.
The program offers an alternative form of transportation for residents and visitors, supporting an active, healthy lifestyle. They can be used to commute to work, run errands, visit friends or just have fun.
Sign up for a CDPHP Cycle membership through the website, http://www.cdphpcycle.com, or the mobile app. Then enter your account number and PIN into the keypad on the bike which will unlock it. You can lock your bike to any fixed, public object, or return it to any station. They’re equipped with a basket, kickstand, and hand sanitizer.
The program is offered in partnership with CDTA (the Capital District Transportation Authority), CDPHP, and Social Bicycles, with support from sponsors including the Glens Falls BID, Sprinkles Ice Cream, Greater Glens Falls Transit, the Queensbury Hotel, Fort William Henry, Adirondack Cycling Advocates, Hudson Headwaters Health Network, Warren County, the City of Glens Falls, the Town of Queensbury and the Town of Lake George.
